She is also highly experienced in managing complex orthodontic cases using Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs), having completed the Advanced TADs Course by Dr. Chris Chang.

Drawing inspiration from her father's expertise in respiratory medicine and sleep disorders, Dr. Shweta has developed a special interest in airway-focused orthodontics. She works closely with Dr. A. S. Krishnan in the multidisciplinary management of sleep-disordered breathing and obstructive sleep apnea, providing orthodontic and dental solutions that support healthier breathing, improved jaw development, and better long-term quality of life.

Her clinical interests also include TMJ (jaw joint) disorders, bruxism (teeth grinding), sports mouthguards, occlusal splints, and interceptive and preventive orthodontics, allowing early diagnosis and treatment to reduce future orthodontic complications.
